The water commissioner is hereby authorized and directed to provide the means and to supplement the fluoride concentrations in the citys public water supply whenever appropriated funds are available for that purpose. (Ord. 47224 § 1, 1954: 1960 C. § 546.010.)

11.26.020 Concentration.
Before the addition of fluorides is inaugurated, the method of addition and the maximum and minimum limits of fluoride concentration in the citys water supply shall be approved by the health commissioner. These maxima and minima of concentration may be varied from time to time in accordance with standards approved by the health commissioner, provided the maximum concentration shall not in any event exceed one part in one million.
