PART II. DRUGS AND DRUG DERIVATIVES
11.60.070 Possession of certain items.
No person under the age of twenty-one years shall buy or have in his possession, custody or control any substance be it solid, liquid, gaseous and however compounded or prepared, containing any drug or drug derivative including proprietary or "brand name" drug preparations which, however common and useful are capable, through abusive use, of inducing a state of intoxication or euphoria in a human being unless the same has been acquired upon the prescription of a person duly licensed to practice the healing arts including dentists, for use in the usual course of his practice or profession. The following drugs, drug derivatives, and proprietary drug preparations shall be included under the prohibitive provisions of Section 11.60.070, but not necessarily limited to the following:

11.60.090 Prescription required.
No person shall sell, offer for sale, attempt to sell, give away, distribute or otherwise transmit or furnish to a person under the age of twenty-one years any of the drugs, drug derivatives and proprietary drug preparations listed in Section 11.60.080, except persons duly licensed to practice the healing arts, including dentists and licensed pharmacists, dispensing said drugs upon prescription by persons licensed to practice the healing arts, including dentists. 11.60.100 Narcotic possession.
It shall be unlawful for any person to have in his possession, custody or control, or to sell or offer or expose for sale, or to give or offer to give to another any narcotics as defined by the laws of this state. (Ord. 45952 § 1, 1952: 1960 C. § 771.010.)

11.60.110 Exceptions.
Sections 11.60.100--11.60.130 shall not apply to any person lawfully authorized to possess, sell or give away such narcotics. (Ord. 45952 § 2, 1952: 1960 C. § 771.020.)
11.60.120 Prima facie evidence.
The possession, selling or offering to sell, give or offering to give to another such narcotics, shall be prima facie evidence of the violation of Sections 11.60.100--11.60.130. (Ord. 45952 § 3, 1952: 1960 C. § 771.030.)
11.60.130 Penalty for violation for Sections 11.60.100--11.60.130.
Any person violating the provisions of Sections 11.60.100--11.60.130 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars nor more than five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the workhouse for not more than ninety days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. 11.60.140 Opium dens.
Any person who shall maintain and keep in the city any place or room where opium or hasheesh, or any extract of such drugs, or any compound in which such drugs are ingredients, is smoked by himself or others, or who shall attend at any room or place for the purpose of assisting or aiding any person to smoke opium or hasheesh, or any extract of such drugs, or any compound in which such drugs are ingredients, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. 11.60.150 Adulteration.
Whoever shall adulterate, for the purpose of sale, any drugs or medicine, without making the same known at the time of the sale to the purchaser, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. (1960 C. § 494.030: 1948 C. Ch. 26 § 24.)
