Cases:
Mere removal of employee from payroll would not constitute automatic termination of retirement system membership. White v. Poelker, 521 S.W. 2d 31 (1975).
Plaintiff, a court report for the Circuit Court of St. Louis, was a member of the Missouri State Employees Retirement System and therefore not eligible for benefits under the city retirement system, notwithstanding that for more than twelve years deductions were mistakenly made from the city portion of her salary for the city retirement system. Bresnahan v. Bass, 562 S.W. 2d 385 (1978).
