Want a fun way to encourage reading this summer?

Register your group for the St. Louis Public Library's Summer Reading Club!

The St. Louis Public Library wants to help your students continue to read and build reading skills during the summer long.

The rules are simple, the program is fun, and there are prizes!

Rules:

1. Give us the names and ages of the children in your class/group as soon as possible after June 1, 2008. (This will allow us to order enough prizes.)

2. Set your reading goals:

  • 15 books read aloud (for younger children)

    OR

  • an amount of time each child in the group will read.
  • Goal that meets the structure of their program.

3. Keep track of your group's reading.

Program:

St. Louis Public Library can help make reading part of each school day. We can:

1. Lend book collections for use in your classroom.

2. Provide storytelling and other enrichment programs at your Branch Library or school.
(Contact the Branch nearest your school for more information.)

Prizes:

"Read to Know Better" Super Flyer

Teacher Thank You—"Read to Know Better" Super Flyer

To ensure that your students receive their certificates and prizes, return the completed Reading Record to your Branch Library at least one week before your program ends.
