Please read these instructions
carefully before you begin. Readers may register at any SLPL location,
from June 2 through August 9
J Club children, preschool through fifth grade, register at once at any location. Bring your Library card, check out books, and find out "What's Buzzin' at SLPL!" Children who have access to St. Louis Public Library materials can join Summer Reading Club. They may use their own Library card, or their parents or guardians may check out books for them or they may read in the Library. Children who cannot check out books, but read in the library may count 1-5 books per day (depending on age, length of book, etc.).
High School students may choose to join Pageturners (the adult "summer reading club") or Teen Club. If they have completed one club, they can join the other club, but they can't be in both clubs simultaneously. Different books should be read for each club. Children who cannot read on their own may join Summer Reading Club. A parent, friend, sibling, or volunteer can read the 15 books with them. |
