Summer Reading Club 2010
Rules

Please read these instructions carefully before you begin. Readers may register at any one SLPL location, from June 5 through August 7, 2010  

J Club children, birth through fifth grade, register once at any location. Bring your Library card, check out books, and find out how to "Make a Splash READ!

Children who have access to St. Louis Public Library materials can join Summer Reading Club. They may use their own Library card, or their parents or guardians may check out books for them or they may read in the Library. Children who cannot check out books, but read in the library may count 1-5 books per day (depending on age, length of book, etc.).

Teen Club is for youth in 6th through 12th grades. Bring your Library card, check out books, and "Make Waves at SLPL!!" Kids going into sixth grade should join Teen Club, unless they ask to join J Club. They may not join both clubs.

High School students may choose to “Water their Mind” in Pageturners (the adult "summer reading club") or Teen Club. If they have completed one club, they can join the other club, but they can't be in both clubs simultaneously. Different books should be read for each club.

Children who cannot read on their own may join Summer Reading Club. A parent, friend, sibling, or volunteer can read the 15 books with them.
